Well, I’ve tightened up the shower and some of the leaks seemed to have dried up but one hasn’t. Still, I’m feeling a little bit more optimistic than yesterday about it.
Little Miss had a very unsettled night last night and so did we. She seemed to wake at 2:30 am and didn’t want to go back to sleep. LSW stayed up with her and eventually she fell asleep about 4.00 but neither I nor LSW had much sleep.
MIL and her cousin turned up today. Little Miss was on form and charmed the socks off the cousin. It seems she wasn’t affected too much by the lack of sleep and was showing off like she was on stage. LSW looked very tired all day but she held up ok.
However, MIL didn’t seem too happy with me for some reason. LSW picked up on it first but didn’t say anything until we talked about it. Neither of us can think of a single thing I could have done to offend her.
I’m still getting the cover note together for the mobile job I’m thinking about. We’ll have to see how it goes from there.
