The Latest
Well, what’s been happening for the last few weeks? Well the doctor has handed in his notice. So our department no longer has a good System Tester. He’s going to be missed because he puts so much in.
I am now the only developer working on the result management for all of the clients we have. It’s not as bad as it sounds because there are only three separate systems but I’m getting dragged from pillar to post supporting them. There is a lull, as I work on a small task for client two and there are no major buyoffs for a little while. I’m using the opportunity to research some new techniques.
Home Life has improved as well. LSW and I are getting on a lot better. We’re now back on speaking terms and now being more supportive of each other. The main reason for this is Little Miss is now sleeping through the night. It took four nights of hell, but then she started to sleep through.
We couldn’t believe it and we’re still waking half way through the night because we think we hear her. She’s still asleep though.
I’ve got another big step out of the way with the game, pity I’ve been ripped off by that Git on Ebay, otherwise I’d have my multiplayer side of it working. The Bank have charged me for his theft and so I’m going to close my account down in protest because they’re just a big a thief as the aforementioned git.
