The weekend that was.

It was quiet. It was pleasant. It was one hell of a surprise. LSW and Little Miss both had a relaxing and fun time. Little Miss was on especially cute form when we took her out to the shops, practically smiling at everyone who she saw. You’d think she was running for parliament. All the old grannies and kids ‘Awww’ ed as they should, which just encouraged her more.

Sunday, we took her to the play park for the first time. She didn’t seem too fussed about the see-saw but she loved the swings. In the afternoon, I finally got my mum and Dad to use the web cam they got for Christmas. It took over three ours to get them set up correctly (So much for yahoo’s easy to use messenger!) but eventually we made contact. My mother greeted me with a middle finger salute, because she could. Oh well, that’s genetics for you.

LSW and I have had nice and quiet time. No arguments, no shouting but we’ve both come to the conculsion that Little Miss has to start sleeping through the night. This Friday we start ‘OPERATION BABYSLEEP’. In order to encourage her to sleep through, LSW is going to stop breast feeding during the night. The only thing she’s going to have is water. She’s going to hate it and she’s going to scream the place down. We’re going to have to be very strong!
