That was the day that was

Ever since the Jabs, Little Miss has been grumpy. She slept almost a full night the day she got them, but since then she wakes both LSW and I up every two hours. This has lead to a tired and grumpy LSW and so I’m now tired and grumpy. Fun time in our house.

I went to the doctors on Thursday and they concluded that my blood pressure was up and I was stressed out. They even said they could sign me off for a few days but what’s the point. The work will stack up while I’m away and I’ll get even worse thinking about it. I’ve got to go back in the next week to see if I’m OK.

The In-laws were up last weekend and help both of us out while we sorted out all the little jobs that were required all day. MiL is a nurse and took my blood pressure. It was sky high! I then received a five-minute lecture on how I should look after myself now that I have a young daughter. LSW had to lead her from the room, she was on such a righteous indignation. She apologised later, saying she had too much wine, but the lecture made me feel that I wanted to go out and eat ten big macs.

Work is weird, I can’t tell if people are coming or going. I’ve got this big project to sort out for Client Two’s South American Plant. I finished it last week, so I’m using the spare time to bring some of our other stuff for client four up to date.

I’ve recently found out that the development work I did for a group who would have been client number 7 has fallen through. Apparently our sales team completely misjudged the Bid, oh well, no more Job security from that one.

Now that Fil’s website is on line, I’m able to concentrate on my game. Or I would if I wasn’t so knackered when I get in. I’ve cut out my coffee, or rather moved onto decaf, and bloody hell I didn’t realise how much I relied on it.
